Why Wireless AP is more expensive than wireless  router ?

Generally speaking, Wireless AP is the wireless device we always use except wireless router.  Wireless router is widely used at home, but for commercial area, like hotel, supermarket, hospital, we always use wireless AP. In general, the average cost for wireless AP will be higher than wireless routers.why?


 Wireless AP is for the company use and commercial market, while the wiring is for the home, so there are differences in configuration and quality.


 A common wireless router can support 10 clients (laptop.cellphone. The pad, etc.), but when the number of terminals continues to increase, the Internet speed is slow. Problems such as offline will occur.


 The professional wireless AP can support 30-60 or more wireless clients, because of the higher performance hardware configuration, stronger transmission features, and more stability than wireless routers.


 What’s the difference between a wireless AP and a wireless router?
